The best parties only come along once every four years and Potomac Point Winery is pleased to be the official wine sponsor for Washingtonian Magazine’s Starry Night Inaugural Ball.  Taking place Sunday, January 20th at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum; Potomac Point Winery along with Heineken and Beam will be supplying over 700 DC guests with high end beverages.  This Black Tie Event will be populated with Washingtonian readers including influential VIPs, members of Congress, journalists, local celebrities and business executives; who will all be there to celebrate the 57th Inauguration with a catered dinner, open bar, live music, and plenty of dancing under the stunning displays of historic aircraft.

As much a part of DC culture as politics itself, Inaugural balls have long added a bit of glitz and glamour to the swearing-in ceremony. These ritzy events date back to the swearing-in of George Washington and have continued with only small interruptions up through President Obama’s 2009 Neighborhood Inaugural Ball.  We are honored to be a part of this year’s Inaugural Ball!
